We didn’t see quite as much of Lisbon as planned with the terrible storm and torrential rain but we made the most of our experience there. Yummy food city.
The Portuguese MotoGP was AWESOME, we had the best seats and loved every minute of it. Fascinating to see how the event was run and fantastic to experience the crowd and racing too.
Two of our day trips in the Algarve were a boat ride to see the Benagil Cave and other wonderful sites along the coastline. Plus a visit to the end of the world where we enjoyed walking and looking over the 40M cliffs – eek.
The Algarve is lovely, we are staying in Lagos at Dom Pedro a beachside complex with a balcony and lovely view. We visited Albufeira and some lovely beaches.
A quick visit to Sevilla but we fell in love with this vibrant city of oranges. Tapas, sherry, sights in a large city which has a small city vibe. Glad we stopped by for our last few days in Spain!
This cliff face walk is exhilarating. The scenery is fantastic, cliffs looming above and below, a beautiful river valley and wonderful nature park. Loved every minute of the Caminito del Ray – strongly recommend.
Ronda and Setenil are both impressive to visit, full of tourists and steeped in history. We took a tour to these two towns and enjoyed seeing the areas surrounding Málaga.
Málaga is a great base for exploring Andalusia and is a lovely city as well. Great vibe, lots of sites, beaches and a cruise ship and super yacht port too.
