Our lovely stay in Edinburgh continues, we walked up the Royal Mile, saw the castle, checked out Victoria Street and took a tram to Leith aka The Shore.
A lovely first couple of days in Edinburgh included visiting Dean Village, up Carlton Hill and discovering great food.
Driving around in The North we also visited cute towns, amazing engineering, memorials and found a few great pubs for lunch.
With Storm Bram raging we had limited time to explore Dundee but stayed in a beautiful apartment so enjoyed the facilities of our hotel for a day.
Loch Lamond is beautiful, Glasgow very wet but also lovely. McLennan Arch found and we also watched the final F1 of the season.
We enjoyed Liverpool, especially the murals / street art. Lots to see and do despite the rain.
A couple of days in Manchester to explore plus a fantastic Mumford and Sons gig!
A lovely mini break with Paul and Karen to Nunney near Bath. Christmas markets, Christmas PJ’s and lots of yummy food.
A quick stop over in London, lots of Christmas markets, interesting buildings and a great catchup lunch with cousin Craig.
A fantastic day exploring via the trains and experiencing life in the snow. An amazing experience going up to the Jungfraujoch mountain area and -11C.
