Day 4 was a little shorter but still had some drama, interesting coastline before heading inland for never ending cobbled streets.
Camino day 3 was long! mostly boardwalks but some narrow cobbled roads as well. My body didn’t cope but our hotel was fantastic.
A slightly longer day 2, board walks, sea fog and our first bunk room sleeping experience (and last).
We are off walking Camino Portuguese. A shorter day one where we stopped into Porto’s Botanical Gardens then walked to the port suburb of Matosinhos.
Our third full day in Porto this trip wandering the streets with Imogen, then into preparation for our Camino.
Our second day in Porto included a visit to World of Wine, specifically the Rosé museum. We also saw a marathon and Imogen arrived! yay.
Porto is a beautiful riverside city with Gaia across a series of architecturally amazing bridges. It’s also full of tourists!
Sadly we said goodbye to the Villa and to Paul and Karen as well. Next stop Porto, Portugal.
A fabulous day out to Pont du Gard and the beautiful village of Uzès. A great day out and lots of history too.
Our local village is very cute and has served us well. This post is more about that, our Villa experience and France in general.
