We left the city of Vigo via an elevator and long walk, then lots of uphill before coming back down! Not great on my knees.

Imogen’s turn to catch the cold so a slightly disruptive day. The walk was lovely and fairly flat, we were walking into a port city of Vigo so many suburban streets as well as beaches.

Day 8 was tough walking, a very tricky hill and cycleway again. But also lovely coastal walking too. We saw the destruction fire has caused in this area and found a wonderful lunch place.

Day 7 was long, with headwinds but lovely scenery. Imogen ditched us and walked with a new friend. Hotel Glasgow lived up to expectations.

Day 6 didn’t get off to a great start with Steve very unwell. We had planned to walk 27km but instead walked 17km – a valiant effort really. Lovely day but did get windy towards the end.

Day 5 of walking and our most diverse terrain yet. Lots of bush, almost like home, lots of hills too. Lovely walking.

Day 4 was a little shorter but still had some drama, interesting coastline before heading inland for never ending cobbled streets.

Camino day 3 was long! mostly boardwalks but some narrow cobbled roads as well. My body didn’t cope but our hotel was fantastic.
